   You must have a job offer from a UK employer approved by the Home Office, and a certificate of sponsorship (CoS) from that employer.

   The job must be on the official list of eligible occupations.

   You must be paid at least £41,700 a year or the going rate for the occupation, whichever is higher. A lower threshold of £33,400 applies only in specific cases.

   You must prove English at CEFR level B2 in reading, writing, speaking and listening — by an approved test, a UK qualification, or a degree taught in English.

   The visa can last up to 5 years before you need to extend it.
