   At least 2 years full-time skilled-trade work (3,120 hours) in the same NOC (Major Groups 72 excl. 726, 73, 82, 83, 92, 93 excl. 932; Minor Group 6320; Unit Group 62200), in the 5 years before applying.

   Either a certificate of qualification issued by a Canadian provincial/territorial/federal authority, OR a valid full-time job offer of at least 1 year.

   Language: CLB 5 for speaking and listening; CLB 4 for reading and writing. Results valid < 2 years.

   No education requirement for the Federal Skilled Trades Program.

   Proof of settlement funds (by family size), unless authorized to work in Canada with a valid job offer.
