   You must be enrolled at a designated learning institution (DLI) with a letter of acceptance.

   You must prove enough money for tuition, living expenses (you and any family with you), and return transportation.

   You must obey the law, have no criminal record (police certificate if required), and be in good health (medical exam if required).

   You must satisfy an officer that you will leave Canada when your study permit expires.
